How Can Athlete's Foot Be Treated?

I am a 67 year old woman and I have a bad case of athletics foot which started on my right foot but is now starting on my left foot. I have tried most of the off the shelf remedies and I follow their directions but I still have it. I have been on line for home remedies but they have not worked. Is there something better I can do to get rid of this? YYYY@YYYY

Hello dear,my name is dr,Dorina Gurabardhi.I understand your concern.
Some advices that I can give to you are:
- use ointments, and lotions. You can apply these treatments directly to the affected area, and use them for at least one week.
-Sea salt has strong antibacterial and antifungal properties
-apply talcum powder (or antifungal powder) directly to the dried, affected area every time before putting on socks.
-Keep your feet dry and clean
Hope my answer was helpful,if you have any other question I will be glad to answer, thanks!
