My dad is on hospice for lung cancer at the age of 86. He (according to hospice) is havein anxiety attacks that affect his breathing. So they give him lorazipam which doesn t seem to help much. He is in pain through his shoulders so takes ambien 5 mg to sleep at night. Since hospice adding the Lorazipam he his waking up confused, and doesn t always know things like where the bathroom is. So I (his advocate) am wondering if medical marijona would be better for him at this point, would it relax him more and handle his pain better. He says pain is lever 3-5. Seems like the two current drugs are not working for him or well together.
