How Can Ankle Sprain Be Treated?

I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago. I went to the ER and was given an air cast and crutches as well as an ace wrap. I have elevated it, iced it, rested it, but 3 weeks later the swelling is still there and now I have burning and discomfort when trying to stand. Should I he concerned.

Hello,

As the symptoms persist, It is better to consult an orthopedician and get an MRI scan to rule out tendon or ligament involvement.

As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like Aceclofenac/Serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.
