How Can An Itchy Anus With Hemorrhoids Be Treated?

I have had an itchy anas for the past 4 weeks. I have used preperation H and Anuail Sol, but it hasn't seem to work. I also have been using nerosporin. I use a cleansing wipe after a bowel movement and on occasion if my hemroids bother me I use a witch hazel wipe. Can you give me any advice?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Treatment may vary depending upon the stage of hemorrhoids.

If it is stage 1 or 2 then dietary modifications and regular exercise may be useful.

If it is stage 3 or stage 4 with complications like thrombophlebitis or infection or prolapsed hemorrhods then need surgery.

Please consult your surgeon who will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
