Hi.. Thanks for the query.. Well, most of the times the tick bite does not cause any transmission of serious infections in humans and tend to cause localised allergic reaction.. But at times can cause severe life threatening symptoms, so in case if he is experiencing any symptoms like breathing difficulty, swelling of lymph nodes, muscle of joint pain, neck stiffness, fever etc then immediately consult an Emergency room.. Although localised allergic reaction will resolve gradually and is nt a matter of serious concern if it is not spreading further.. For now first of all have a close look at the bite site and if the tick is not attached to the skin it is good or else you should gently remove the tick using tweezers. You can apply Calamine lotion to control the itching and do cool compresses or ice packs.. Take Benadryl to relief the symptoms.. If it continue to worsen immediately consult an Emergency room..
