How Can An Broken Sternum Be Treated?

I woke up 2 weeks ago and felt like I had broke my sternum. I have been checked twice by a doctor and they can find nothing wrong with me.but I am having massive chest and back spasms that make me cry and it feels like I have pulled my chest muscles but I have not. I have CML, fibromyalgia, RA and OA. My question is can fibromyalgia do this if it is not treated ?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

An X-ray can easily detect broken sternum. Get an X-ray done and if it found as normal pain could be due to something else and probably due to fibromyalgia. Fibromyalgia can cause similar symptoms and may mimic Rn fracture and angina. You can take analgesics like Tramadol or Gabapentin for pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain
