General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi and Welcome to Ask A Doctor service. I have read your question and here is my advice.
Duedenum is not stmach ,it's just the next part ton teh stomach. ( duedenum is not polyp )It is very important for our mg digestion.
A polyp is an outgrowth on the inner side of the duedenum, like a finger projecting from its inside .the polyp is removed by simple snatching it .There is no need to remove stomach or duedenum if the polyp is a simple one and it is most of times simple.
Hopes I have answered your question. I will be glad to answer any further question about this.
kind Regards
Dr Rahman
