How Can Allergic Skin Rash Be Treated?

I thought I had poison ivy. I purchased an over the counter Anti-itch lotion specifically for: pioison ivy, poison sumac, insect bites, poison oak and minor skin irritations. It states active ingredients are pramoxine, zinc acetate. It s been 2 weeks and I m still breaking out and have no relief.

HI , thanks for using healthcare magic

You need to consider using something orally, this would have a systemic effect.

Eg benadryl, claritine, allegra, zyrtec.
One of these can be used for at least 24 to 72 hours.

You can use along with the cream but an oral agent is needed.

I hope this helps
