How Can Allergic Itching On The Lower Leg Be Treated?

I recently went camping and therefore have a bunch of mosquito bites...i was absentmindedly itching what i thought was a bite on my lower right leg but it was dark and i thought i opened it up as i felt fluid (thinking i bloodied myself...) but its not it is four white spots that are leaking pus and burn and itch really bad...will this go away or is this something worse than a bug bite...also im allergic to fleas but this doesnt seem like a normal flea bite

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thank you for trusting HealthcareMagic for your health concern

The rash you are describing is suggestive of impetigo, which is superficial skin infection.
Insect and mosquito bites can become secondarily infected with bacteria resulting in impetigo.
Keep the area clean and dry. Wash with disinfectant soap and water
You can also use topical mupirocin.
If the pus discharge and rash do not start decreasing in 3 days follow up with your primary care provider to get started on oral antibiotics .

Hope this answers your question
