How Can Allergic Cough Be Treated?

I live in India. Lucknow, Utaar Pradesh to be exact. There is road digging in front of my house. I am coughing excessively for last 6 hours what is the problem? Anything to be worried. I had flu for last 2 weeks. i had cough too. But it had cured by yesterday night. today the road digging has started. There is lot of airborne dust.

According to your clinical history your problem allergic reaction to dust.
Your airway is hyper responsive to airborne dust and it is manifesting as cough.
The best possible thing you could do is avoid the allergen,that means stay away from dust.you can use a mask,close all the doors and avoid contact with dust.
If your problem still persist you can go for medical management,
Take any antihistamine tablet once daily dose.
I will suggest LEVOCETRIZINE 5mg tablet one tablet per day.
Most probably you have nothing to worry.
