How Can Allergic Body Rashes In A Child Be Treated?

By 5 year old has been had hives 4 times in the last 10 weeks. Keeping a food activity diary has not helped there is nothing in common with all the episodes. Each episode has lasted about 5 days with a 2-3 weeks in between. The first time she only needed Benadryl, 2nd time Benadryl, steroid, Pepcid, and epi, 3rd time Benadryl, they started the steroids and Pepcid right away, I just started the Benadryl and Pepcid and have not called her me yet. We Re to see allergist tomorrow which is now wasted because of treatment today. Do you have any suggestions before I call them for the steroids?
