How Can Adult ADHD Be Treated?

I have recently been diagnosed with ADHD but I haven t 8 to 10 week wait to see the psychiatrist at my Behavioral Health provider the company I m going through can a nurse practitioner prescribe me a temporary prescription to get me through until the time them and I have to wait to see the psychiatrist in Virginia? Its pretty urgent I m about to lose my job because of ADHD I need this medication.

There are various medications used. Stimulants such as Adderall, Concerta, Focalin, Vyvanse, Quillivant, and Ritalin in long-acting form are often prescribed for symptoms. However, multidisciplinary approach is required for treatemtn and it includes psyhotherapy and cognitive therapy. YOu should find psychologist who can provide you more info about treatment in your area.
