How Can Adenocarcinoma In The Lungs Be Treated?

I just found out that I had Adenocarcinoma in the lung. There was a small spot on an X-ray one yr ago not picked up and a recent catscan showed it had grown slightly. Biopsy last week showed the above cancer. I don t want to go through Radiation and Chemo if I can help it, I am 82 with 4 stints in my heart. I am going to MDAnderson in Huston this month. Do you know of any alternate treatments I can ask about ?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

According to Ayurveda, unbalanced physiology (Doshas) leads to faulty inherent intelligence leading to malfunctioning of genes and gene behavior leading to diseases like cancer. As per Dr. Virender Sodhi (MD, ND) of the Ayurvedic and Naturopathic Medical Clinic in Washington State - “We all make cancer cells every day but our immune system is very sharp and not only recognizes the bad faulty cells but also sends its own army to destroy it. That is why the balance of mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health is a very important part of healing.”

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Rajesh Raghuwanshi
