How Can Acne Be Treated?

I am 45 yr. old male with no insurance. I have a red pimple with a white spot in center. Physician asst. called it a sty. Apply warm compresses he said, but that is not helping it to go away. It really does not hurt but it is unsightly and embarrassing as I am a sometime actor with an audition coming up. What else can I do to help this heal and go away.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

As you told that you have red pimples with white patches in center, the best way to deal with is to take proper antibiotics with local application. Just take Azithromycin. Also, wash your face 5 times a day without any soap. This acne occurs due to oily skin.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nirav Nimavat
