How Can Abnormal Uterine Bleeding Be Treated?

My wife had a miscarriage about four months ago, the first two months, she was bleeding heavily, then it stopped. It started heavily again. An Xray was done and it was discovered she has tear in her stomach. What would be the best treatment to stop the heavy bleeding she is experiencing?

Hi,

I would explain that X-ray study is not the best tool to examine the stomach.

Besides the uterine bleeding is not related to the stomach.

For this reason, I would recommend consulting with her gynecologist for a physical exam, an abdominal ultrasound and some blood lab tests (complete blood count, PCR, ESR, coagulation tests).

Regarding her stomach, I would recommend performing a fibrogastroscopy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
