I got injured in my right leg three weeks back. It was dry after a week. But I did a mistake by cleaning it with dettol without diluting it. Since then some liquid kind of thing is coming continuously from my wound. Visited doctor and having phexin for this issue but still facing the same problem.
As per your case history of the wound on the leg, my treatment advice is - 1. Don't squeeze the lesion as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it. 3. Take an NSAID like ibuprofen for five to seven days. 4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics like levofloxacin, cefadroxil, and azithromycin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
