How Can A Rash On The Calf Muscles Be Treated?

I have a rash mostly on my calves, I have two prescription creams, triamcinolone acetonide cream and mometasone furoate cream. I see the doc on Friday. Which cream would benefit me the most and what are the difference in these 2 meds??, YYYY@YYYY

The answer will depend on the dosage of the creams you are using. If you are using Triamcinolone 0.1%, it is equally potent to mometasone. However, if you are using 0.02% of triamcinolone it is less potent than mometasone. Otherwise, both these creams have a similar mechanism of action and side effects. They both belong to a class of drug-corticosteroid.
If you are using triamcinolone 0.02%, mometasone is the most effective one helping you more. However, if you are using triamcinolone 0.1% both these medications are equally effective.
