How Can A Rash From The Neck To The Hairline Be Treated?

Just returned from internist who saw my wife. H e said he cannot help her as he had never seen such a neck rash in his career. It is causing her hair line to receed and leave a crown like hair line. Also her hair is beginning to also drop off. Her first doc said it was An , but another dermatologist said no. The second internist just took blood to see if it is an autoimmune disease. Hello,

As a first line management, you can apply low potency steroid creams like betamethasone for symptomatic relief. If the lesion persists, it is better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
