Hi, thanks for asking from HCM.

I can understand your concern. You had concussion. Concussion is a blunt head injury which presents with brief loss of consciousness without any brain lesion (bleed or fracture). It is good that your X ray is normal.

For concussion, you need not to worry. Its symptoms will resolve in few weeks. You can follow few steps

- Take rest

- Take painkiller like diclofenac or Tylenolol after proper prescription.

- For vertigo, you can take tablet betahistin after proper prescription.

- Apply icepacks at injury site over head and neck.

- You can also apply diclofenac gel over neck pain site. Avoid lying in prone position.

For flu, you should

- Inhale steam 4-6 times daily. It will open your nose.

- Take tablet Cetrizine after prescription.

- Avoid cold food/drink.

- In case of fever, you can take tablet Paracetamol after prescription.

Hope it will help you. If still in doubt, do let me know.
Thanks. Take care.
