How Can A Leg Limp Be Corrected?

I have an antalgic limp following an accident where I fractured the neck of my femur. I had a dhs but it failed and 8 weeks later I had to have a hemiarthoplasty. It s now 4.5 monts after the last surgery and I have a limp. My back buttock and knee are painful when I go for a walk. How can I correct this limp?

I have studied your case and I think that you might need a x ray to check if there is malpositioning of the implant. If implant is not in correct position than it can cause such pain. Some time even when the implant is in normal position than also some time it can be weakness of the hip abductor muscles than also it can cause such limping.
I would suggest you to get x ray of the hip joint and then also muscle power examination. if you want than you can send me x ray. Till that time I would recommend you to take brufen tablet for pain relief.
