How Can A Groin Injury Be Treated?

I fell and ripped my groin muscle. My leg bruised a DEEP purple from groin to knee mid front to mid back three days later, now the bruise has traveled down to my calf and foot and feels more like a bruise to the touch than it did on my thigh. Is this normal and could it be because my calf is much tighter than my thigh normally?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Generally the bruises will settle by itself. If it persists, in case of symptoms like severe pain, better to consult an orthopedic and get evaluated. Wishing you good health.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain
