An x-ray told my doctor that my toe, next to the big toe on my right foot, was fractured. He told me that there was nothing that they could do to fix it and that I would just have to live with it basically. After, what seemed to be, a long time my fractured toe began leaning toward and finally on top of the Big Toe next to it. My first question is: Is it common for that to happen with a fracture or is it something else that s causing the fractured toe to grow toward and lay on top of the toe next to it? Secondly, isn t there anything that can be done to prevent to fix this? I remember my mother s toe lying on top of the next toe just like mine. I m thinking that she must have fractured hers as well? Is that possible? My toe pain is gone except when it rains so I don t really want to open up that can of worms again. Believe me I have enough pain everywhere else to make up for it. lol Could you please return my message and hopefully give me some answers. Thank you in advance, Shirley
