General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello, my name is Dr.Dorina Gurabardhi. I understand your concern.
You should visit an orthopaed.
He may put your leg in a brace, splint, knee immobilizer, or cast to keep your knee from moving while it heals.
You may continue the pain medicine.
With treatment, the fracture may take 6 to 8 weeks to heal.
Hope my answer was helpful ,if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help, thanks!
