How Can A Dog Bite Be Treated?

i was bitten again with my own dog i take anti rabies vaccine when i was bitten at first..this is the second time that my dog bitten me..my dog also have anti rabies vaccine it will expired on may22 2018.my question is should i take again an anti rabies vaccine?or still effective the firts anti rabies i had?

I can understand your concern.

There's no need to take re-vaccination.

If your pet dog had been with your family for more than couple of months and is not in contact with other potential rabid animals and is adequately vaccinated against rabies and the efficacy of the vaccine is confirmed by the laboratory evidence bites by such animals do not need rabies prophylaxis.

The protection given by 3 doses of modern rabies vaccine can last for 2-3 years.

So you don't need re-vaccination following bite of your pet dog, the previous vaccination is sufficient enough to give protection against rabies.
