How Can A Dog Bite Be Treated?

Hi doctor My friend has a dog bite her pet and it bite her so deep on side of her finger that it tore her flesh. Immediate injection has been taken in the wound. Also lot of blood has flown. It looks very scary. I wud like to know wat is the consumption shud be avoided. On her behalf I wud seek advice as her hand is badly injured. Thanks Resha

I have gone through your query. There is no food restrictions. You can take any food you like. If you have taken rabies immunoglobulin at the bite site then you are safe.Complete the rabies vaccine course. Take a broad spectrum antibiotic for your wound healing also. There is nothing to worry.
