How Can A Diagnosis Be Arrived At By Referring To RBC, Neutrophil And Thyroid Function Results?

Hello! My colleague, female 48 years old, had few tests done and have some queries. On a test conducted, following were on the report: Haematology Report: RBC 3.68 Neutrophil 75 Monocyte 00 MCH 33 MCV 100 Hormone Report: Thyroid Function Test TSH 7.57 May i know what is wrong with her.

Hello,

Your friend's report is showing a high neutrophil count. So any infection or inflammation in the body could be possible.

Kindly ask her regarding any clinical complaint if a present like cold, respiratory infection, ear pain, abdominal pain, etc for further discussion.

Her TSH is high. So it is usually seen in subclinical hypothyroidism. But based on this one finding comment cannot be possible. She has to repeat tsh estimation after few days along with free T4 estimation.
