Hi,
Hiccups is due to many reasons. The problem is due to irritation of diaphragm or its nerve. Usually due to body reflex mechanisms this will stop in no time.

Since its there since 2 days, give anti emetics like domperidone with pantoprazole that reduce gastric secretion along with antispasmodic like dicyclomine and plenty of water. These may help him.
If not treated then consult doctor once for examination.

Hope this helps you.
Regards
