How Can A Bump On The Vagina Lip Be Treated?

I had a small bump on my vagina lip for over 3 year s. I went to the doctor for it they said it s nothing don t worry about it unless it gets bigger with pain. Finally after 3 year s it came to a head and I popped it with a sterile Needle. This brown thread looking stuff was coming out for about 1 minute straight. When it stop draining I got some tissue to see what it was I thought it was a long worm coming out. I smelled it it smelled like pure Shit Doo Doo and it was brown. Please help me to understand what happening to my body.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

As per my surgical experience, the lump on the vaginal lip suggests possible Bartholin's cyst, sebaceous cyst or another soft tissue lesion.

I do not agree with the self-manipulation of the bump with a needle to increase the risk of secondary infection.

Just get an ultrasound of the soft tissue done and consult with the report in follow up, so that curative guidelines can be figured out.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
