How Can UTI Be Treated?

I have a UTI infection and my Dr put me on Bactrim 160 mg . I have taken two a day for two days and I am still having to go to the bathroom every 30 min to an hour, But it just got worse in that now I feel like I need to Void and a lot of the time nothing comes out.

It may be due to incomplete recovery. It is better to do a urine culture and sensitivity to choose the best antibiotic. Drink plenty of water to keep hydrated. The symptoms will resolve in couple of days.
