How Can UTI Be Treated?

My daughter feels like she has a urine track infection. She has pressure and a constant feeling of needing to urinate. When she does, she is passing blood clots through her urine. Her Dr does not have an answering service, just a message. Should she be going to the emergency room or is it safe to wait till the morning?

Hello,

First, you should notice if the girl has the temperature?

You should give her plenty of water and wash her with warm water with chamomile which may help till you go to the doctor.

If your daughter cannot urinate or start having pain you should go to the Emergency room.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Elona Dashi
