How Can Parkinson S Disease Be Treated?

Hello my name is Jesica I’m 23 years old, I think I have Parkinson’s disease. I went to see neurologist but he was only focused om my tremors. My tremors are located in my right hand and in my right leg. He will not even discuss the matter with me because of my being only 23. He would not listen to me trying to tell him that I get confused with everyday tasks, or I’m walking perfect one moment then all of a sudden I can’t move I feel stuck to the ground. How I’m in pain, or I’m so tired all day. And at night I can sleep I’m always moving, I atack my husband when I do fall asleep. I have two kids. And nobody will take me seriously. So my question to you is if there is anything you can do... what is it that I should do. I can’t keep living this way. I’m loosing myself. I don’t understand my body and what it is doing. Please if there is any way you can help. But if not I understand.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You are 23 years old, so have all the world rights to be informed on your health wellness. Talk again to your doctor, ask him to tell you what he think your symptoms mean. If he does not, go to another neurologist. The doctor will ask you questions about your general health and make visits for what he think is right to make a diagnosis. Don't go to conclusion by yourself, that only stresses you more, take a real consult instead.

Best regards.
