How Can IBS Be Treated?

I don t know if you can see all the symptoms I listed........ I know I have IBS, but this last week, fever, chronic diahrea distended abdomen on and off. stopped for one day and flared back up, with fever. woke up rushing to the bathroom. I have deg disc disease, arthritis, fibromyalgia, diastolic impairment grade one, mitral valve prolapse. history of low blood pressure female 98 lbs. meds are tizanadine, ambien, Norco, lyrica, motrin, and recently a very mild tranquilizer, for sleep disorder

Yes, your all symptoms are suggestive of IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) only. IBS is stress and anxiety related. So to control IBS we need to control stress and anxiety. Drugs are good but counselling by expert psychotherapist is of great help. So better to consult psychiatrist and get done counselling sessions. Try to identify stressor in your life and start working on its solution. This will definitely help you. Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm.
