Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am so confused! I scrolled down your list of good fiber vs bad fiber. FOD-MAP states on their web page that peas are HIGH and green beans LOW. This listing on Web-MD states the complete reverse. I have found that numerous sites have the same discrepancies on numerous items, from simple Malt Vinegar to Vinegar (unk which one-didn t state it). Can you advise me on how to manage all these errors? , please. I do indeed have IBS and Gastroenterology directed me to follow the FOD-MAP diet and incorporate it into the format for My Fitness Pal that I ve been on for 18 months.

How Can IBS Be Managed Through Diet?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. The foods which are rich in fiber are whole grains and fruits. You need to avoid refined food items. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
