Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
How can I find out if my husband had a vasectomy before we got married. I can tell he doesnt want anymore kids. We went to a fertility doctor, and his result said his sperm are sticking together and antibodies are attacking them. Doctor said something about they are backing up in the blood stream and thats why the antibodies are attacking them. Doctor asked him if he had a vasectomy and he denied it. I know deep in my gut something is up with him. PLEASE HELP!!
Hello Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have doubt that your husband has undergone Vasectomy before marriage.
You have consulted qualified infertility specialist and semen analysis report of your husband revealed agglutination of sperms.
The agglutination of sperm itself indicates that there are sperms in the semen (but they are clumped together ) which confirms the patency of Vas and rules out Vasectomy being done.
However the only confirmative test is radiological test of Vasovasogram for which he may not agree or it may create embarrassing situation for both of you and create problems in your relationship.
