It is not clear which drug he is taking. Low LDL is good as is high HDL. You could get back with the detailed fasting lipid profile report with actual values. As of now, there is no evidence that very low LDL produces any problems. In fact, studies do indicate that for Indians, LDL should be lower than 75 mg/dl. Of course, if all the values are consistently low, we could reduce the dosage of the medicines

Thank you sir for the information. Regarding the medicine, he is taking Atorvastatin (Lesstrol 10 mg). Also, the same doctor sometimes prescribe Atorlip-F (10 mg).

After the medicine intake his TGs reduces to 250mg/dl,Total Cholesterol reduces to 103 mg/dl also his HDL level increases to 36 mg/dl and LDL reduces to a below normal value that is 17 mg/dl (normal range 130-150 mg/dl).

we are actually worried regarding the abnormally low values of LDL and very high ratio of HDL/LDL that is 2.1 (however data says that it should be higher than 0.3 {low risk range is 0.3-0.4})but 2.1 is a really high value.

kindly, help me regarding the same! I will be obliged
