Left kidney is mildly smaller in size and irregular in outline.Biopolar length of the left kidney is 9.7 cm cortical echo genecity is increased.cortico medullary differentiation is moderate to severely compromised. Cortical thickness of left kidney is 1.3 cm.pelvicalyceal system is not dilated of both kidney. What does all mean. Is the left kidney functioning

The radiological report of left kidney shows that the left kidney is smaller in size than the normal sized right kidney. I suggest you to get routine urine examination done and consult a nephrologist for clinical assessment, relevant investigations and thus management.
