How Can Helicobacter Pylori Infection Be Treated?

Hi Dr Kitan Kumar, I have been diagnosed with Helicobactor Pylori after having a gastroscopy. I started the 14 day treatment of Nexium Hp7 being 2 x 20 mg of Nexium, x 4 500mg of Amoxil and x 4 500mg of Klacid/clarithromycin each day. I am feeling really unwell onto day 3 have not had a wink of sleep since taking this medication also huge headaches, nausea and lightheadedness, terrible taste in the mouth and not hungry one little bit. Should I stop taking the medication and go and see my GP ASAP? Thank you.

Hi, I'm dr. Anto.

The triple drug you have used might have some side effect and it can give the symptoms you are having. You can stop the medication and go to the GP as soon as possible.
