How Can Alzheimer S Disease Be Treated?

My wife has been diagnosed with Alzheimer s disease (more accurately, what she has is consistent with Alzheimer s disease). She is having difficulty with her tongue, which won t help her with talking. Is this a normal aspect of Alzheimer s disease, or is the cause likely to be elsewhere?
