How Accurate Is The Test For STD After 2 Months Of Unprotected Sex?

Hi ! I had a protected sex with a sex worker 2 month ago! I not sure if the condom broke or not but she was take it off and put on the new one without reason n i forgot to ask her cos too much drunk!!! Could the condom broke ?? M I infected!! N i also have some symptoms such as sore throat after 3 days , flu, lost weight , nausea, swollen lymph node under the jaw right side ... I just get test at week 6 n the result is negative !! How accurate it is ??

Thanks for contacting HCM. Condoms can rupture during intercourse. If you had one break then there is a risk of STD. You did have testing done at six weeks which were negative and that is a good sign. I would not worry about having any STD at this time.
