Horrible Sores All Over Face, Lot Of Scars, Using Meth. Treatment?
My daughter is 19 years old. She had beautiful skin all her life, but in the last year and a half she has used meth . And I have seen horrible sores all over her face and body. She has a lot of scars now too. I wanted to know is there anything I can do to get her to stop doing drugs! And also is there any treatment to repair the damage she has done to her skin?! Your daughter is having drug addiction.
And she developed factitious dermatitis and nodular prurigo due to disturbed mental condition.
Immediately she should be taken to deaddiction center nearby in your city.
The doctors in the center would thoroughly examine her, take complete history and do blood investigations.
And they will start the treatment for deaddiction..and they might refer to psychiatrist and dermatologist.
Anxiolytic and antipsychotic drugs might improve her psychological status.
Local steroid cream and oral antihistaminics would improve.
If the skin condition is severe, oral steroid would be used.
I think, she might be improved.
