Hit On The Foot, Knee, Hip Causing Bruising, Swelling. Should I See A Doctor?

I fell down about 7 steps 5 weeks ago. I hurt the top of my left foot, my left knee, and right hip. My hip is ok. My knee still hurts some. My foot has bothered me the most. It was bruised and swollen; it hurt when I walked. Five weeks later it still swells during the day and hurts some when I walk. I have not seen a physician.

Hello,
Thanks for writing in.
As you have told, its been 5 weeks since you fell down 5 steps with injuries to your left knee, foot and right hip.
The left knee swelling can be due to bursitis (pre paterllar bursitis).
You could take help from an orthopedic surgeon if you are unable to get along with your normal daily routine.
Hope this helps.
