Hit Kneecap On Metal, Feels Like A Bump, Pain In The Calf Muscle. What Is Wrong?
I was working and i hit my kneecap on metal on sunday. it started brusing Tuesday, below my kneecap, there is swelling and bumpiness. and a random bone bump. my kneecap, there is a big dip where i hit it and i can move little things around inside. there is a huge bump that i can move to. when i move the kneecap, it feels like rubber rubing together. it hurts the more i walk and when i go up and down stairs. i have a strange pain in my upper caf, and i get tense stinging pain at times when i try to run. what should i go and what would you think is wronge?

I have read your query.
It looks that there is soft tissue injury at your knee cap with swelling of bursa over your knee cap.There can be associated strain of muscle of calf due to sudden contraction of muscle.You should not stressed by this,you should do following to have relief in this-
-You should do rest.
-Do cold fomentation with help of ice pack.
-I generally prescribe good anti inflammatory analgesic like aceclofenac for such patients.
-Avoid putting strain over your limb.
