History Of Acne. Have Zits, Black Heads, Pus-filled Pimples. Applied Metrogyl. Suggestion?
hi doc. i am 29 years old and mother of a 3 year old.i have had a history of mild-moderate acne in my teens .. and it got cleared out eventually.
from past 6 months i have started developing zits all over my face and lots of black heads all over my face which
eventually result into puss flled pimples, also my skin has become extremely oily and sensitive.
i have started applying metrogyl m/e as it had helped my in past also.please suggest me what to do. i also want to consider C02 fractional laser for improving scars on my face please suggest which is better Co2 or dermaroller?

Hi,
You are having seborrhoea..oily skin.
And thats why you develop comedones,acne vulgaris and acne pustulosa.
Stress, sleeplessness,worries,spicy and oily food, milk etc..may exacerbate the disease.
Antibiotics like azithromycine in pulse therapy would be helpful.
Isotretinoin in low dose may reduce the the lesions.
Local application of clindamycine with adapalene gel would be of great help.
Antiseptic or salicylic acid containing face wash may be used to wash the face... to reduce oiliness.
After few weeks to few months you would be improved.
Scars may be reduced by dermaroller..
If poor response, you may go for laser.
