Hip Injury While Playing Football. Hip Pain When Coughing Or Sneezing. What Could This Be?

Hi, yesterday i played a game of football and was hit hard in the hip, i left the game and tried to walk/jog it off though when i did it felt like dead weight was on my hip and severe pain would come when i jogged, along with that if i cough or sneeze sever pains shoots though my hip and is nearly unbearable. What could this be and is it reason to go to the hospital?

good evening sir...as u say u have hit the hip and it followed a trauma.. you should get an x ray done to rule out any hair line fracture.. doesn't look like a major one bt a x ray is recomended...
