In 99% cases of high blood pressure
, there is no cause and such cases are labeled as "Essential Hypertension".
In 1% cases, hormonal
causes are responsible and includes hypo/hyperthyroidism
and cushing's syndrome.
Sensation of warm faces may be a part of hyperthyroidism and you should go for thyroid profile check up.
Though your blood pressure is not in higher range, this level could be maintained by diet changes.
Taking low dose diuretics is not a bad option and after all your blood pressure must be in controlled range (120/80 mm Hg).
