High Blood Pressure. Prescribed Chlorthalidone, Viz Noten, Plavix. History Of Stroke, Kidney Condition. Suggestions?

My B P after a 2nd stroke plus kidney problem 5 months ago (only one kidney now working) has been in range 80 - 170. It has now gone to 110-200. Dr has prescribed chlorthalidone 25mg one tab daily to be taken in addition to initial dose of 5 months viz noten(2 daily) plavix (1daily) fosopril(1daily and simvastin (1 daily) What is your view thanks

wait for a week if there is no improvement you need to add another drug. Your BP should ideally be less than 135/85mm Hg.
