High Ferritin Level, Alcohol Addiction. How Can I Get Normal Levels?
Hi I was told by my nurse that my Ferritin level is 292, however, I had no call from my doctor I asked her what to do, she could not give me a streight answer. So I searched the Internet and found out that I should not have any alcoholic beverages. I do like my dark german beer which I have at times - also a gin and tonic once in awhile what can I do to remove the high Ferritin and get it to a normal level Sincerely Gisela

Hi..zand.., quit having alcohol and repeat the serum ferritin level test after 4 to 6 weeks again..
the level of the ferritin will be reduced and HB will be normal..
eat much of green leafy vegetables.., dates, guava, these will increase hb in the body..
