Hi There, I Am A Healthy 31-year-old Female, 1.65m Tall

Hi there,
I am a healthy 31-year-old female, 1.65m tall and weigh 54kg. I do heavy lifting (weight training) at least 6 days a week. About 4 weeks ago I started following a program that requires me to do relatively to very heavy squats daily. I've noticed that I develop petechiae more easily than before in areas where the bar (even with padding around it) sits on my shoulders or back. This is especially true when I do front squats, which requires the bar to rest on the front part of one's shoulders.

To me the petechiae appear to look worse than I've seen it on myself before and I'm concerned whether this could be due to any underlying medical issue.

I recently also started taking 5HTP (for about two weeks now) to help me sleep through the night. I'm not sure if that could be playing a role?? Otherwise, I take a pre-workout (containing caffeine, beta-alanine, etc), fish oil caps, vitamin C tablets, a multi-vit and calsium.

Please advise...?

Thank you,
Alana
