Hi there - I used Dettol Surface Cleaner on a wet wipe (I guess like a Dettol Surface wipe) to clean an area of floor....however it was near my baby in hear seat (5 months, with seat postioned at floor level) with only a foot or 2 away....I maybe being a hypochondriact but I was a little worried as thought she was slightly 'rasping' after I picked her up.
Now, I know Dettol unlike other products has no odour, and does not release gases on surface contact, and I guess as its safe to use near food prep areas is not a toxic as some, also if using normal surface wipes would be fine in other places - but should this be OK with the fumes from the Dettol near my baby?
I think it should be fine - just looking for a bit of peace of mind etc!
