Hi, my daughter was in a car wreck 3 weeks ago, and she is having severe back pain, which goes up her neck and now she is having migrains, she is only 17, and her pcp recommended going to a spine specialist because she stated that she had a place in her back that was more sensitive than other parts of her back, but it just continues to get worse, so at this time, we have to carry her 10 month old baby to and from her car for her, and they had told her to be sure to go to a specialist to see if we could possibly start with pt, to see if that will give her some relief, at least til the baby is a little older, but she cries with it at night, but she won't take any pain medicine because she is afraid she will get too sleepy and she has to get up with the baby at night. I haven't been able to find a Dr. locally because for some reason they don't accept any more motor vehicle accidents. In her accident, the ER Dr. told her that she had a chest contusion, bruised kidneys, and spinal and neck injuries, but they didn't feel they were qualified to start making statements about her back and neck pain, they stated that they would rather a specialist gave her those instructions
We have also run into trouble of any of them accepting her Amerigroup insurance, but her attorney stated that they would send a statement guaranteeing payment if we could get her seen. Can you please help.
